Once a year, 140+ golfers come together to spend a day playing golf, meeting and making friends while doing something really great: helping families with a seriously ill or injured child.  These families come to great hospitals in our area to get life-saving treatment – families just like yours and mine. So many are in desperate situations, for no other reason except their child got ill or badly injured. Some travel hundreds or thousands of miles to come here; some live in the area.

They all have two things in common:

  1. They have a child that needs specialized care and support.
  2. Steven’s Hope

As a golfer or a golf fan, you can make a big difference in the lives of families by supporting the 2016 Drives To Save Lives Golf Classic. The event will take place Monday, May 16th at Red Hill Country Club in Rancho Cucamonga and all proceeds go to Steven’s Hope for Children to help fund the programs offered to families at a time when they need it most.

Event sponsorships are available up to the Title Level Sponsorship of $10,000 which includes golf registration for eight (8). Although the “Event” Sponsor ($5,000) and  Golf Cart Sponsor ($3500) are sold,  $3,000 would allow your company to be a Dinner Sponsor (one of two), Lunch Sponsor, Reverse Pong Sponsor or the Grand Prize Sponsor. Additionally, companies can also be a “Hole” sponsor for $300 if added to a foursome or $400 if not included with a foursome. Please review the attached registration forms for more details.

Individuals and foursomes can reserve their spot now on a first come-first served based for the April 1 opening for non-sponsors. The cost of a foursome is $1200 and an individual is $300. Each registered and paid golfer will have a ticket to the Drives To Save Lives Golf Classic Banquet and Auction, immediately following golf. Additional Banquet and Auction Tickets will be available April 1 on a limited basis for $75 per person.

For the individuals that would like to volunteer for the event are encouraged to sign-up using the online volunteer registration form.

Over the years, we’ve heard about from people who were unable to attend the event but still wanted to support Steven’s Hope at this event. This year, for the first time, several of the Silent Auction items will be available via online bidding! So even if you can’t be there, you can still be “at” the event. Who knows, the auction might even be streamed!!!  And, if you  have an item with a value of $150 or more that you would like to donate to the auction, please let us know!  Tickets to events, excursions, private gatherings, one-on-one meet and greets, and weekend getaways are always great ideas.
