The Run For A Child

Posted by on February 18, 2012

SEPT 8, 2012.  Three Runs.  Two Directions.  One Great Cause.   Run For A Child.

Saturday, September 8, 2012 is the day to put on your running shoes to help a child.  This 4th annual event (formerly One Tough Run) now offers three fantastic opportunities for you to help a seriously ill or injured child and their family.

One Mile Kids Fun Run

Sanctioned by the 100 Mile Club, this one mile run is perfect for kids.  What better way for your children to learn that helping others can be fun!

Family 5k Walk/Run

Having a seriously ill or injured child affects the entire family.  Bring your family out to participate in this fun family event, and whether you walk or run, you will know that you are helping children and their families get through a difficult time.

Individual walkers and runners not quite ready for the 10k Trail Run are encouraged to participate in the 5k Walk/Run.

One Tough Run 10K

This is still “One Tough Run” heading down the Historic Lady of the Madonna Trail and then to make sure it’s tough enough for you, you’ll be running back up!  Not for the beginner, this run offers a good workout for a good cause.  What’s a little sweat when it’s for a child?
