Steven’s Hope Hires First Development Director

Steven’s Hope for Children is proud to announce the hiring of Rose Bock as its first Development Director. 

Rose Bock, the first Development Director for Steven’s Hope for Children.

Rose brings more than ten years of nonprofit experience to Steven’s Hope. Her responsibilities will be to work with existing and new supporters of Steven’s Hope and create sustainable funding for the organization. Additionally, she will play a significant role in planning campaigns, corporate interaction and grant management. 

“When I heard about the opportunity with Steven’s Hope and all that it ddi for families, I was moved. I wanted Steven’s Hope to be my home,” says Rose. “This is such a great place to be.”

Prior to Steven’s Hope, Rose had served as Director of Development & Communication at VAMP Global Missions in Australia and was Chief Executive Officer for VAMP Global Missions in the US.  Most recently she was Director of Development at Disabled Veterans Business Alliance in Sacramento. She has also been a fundraising consultant for over 5 years.

“This is a big step for Steven’s Hope,” said Executive Director Tony Cappelli. “This new position is critical to the future growth of Steven’s Hope, its mission, its vision and the families that need help.  Rose is up to the challenge and has the ability to move the organization to the next level.”

Since Steven’s Hope was founded, Tony had been responsible for all of the front end activities of donor development and fundraising. As the organization has grown, the need for additional support became more apparent. 

“I’m looking forward to working with Tony and understand all that is Steven’s Hope,” said Rose.  “There is a lot to do and I’m looking forward to helping others create their own legacy with this great charity.”
